It was an incredible surprise. This is looking east away from the sunset. I was planning on capturing the typical low light evening glow but the sky absolutely lit up in front of me. This was painted very quickly as the light faded, and rare for me, finished inside. The lake was covered in melting snow and the reflection off the few puddles made this composition work. |
