Newfoundland 2017 (Plein Air Acrylics)

These were all painted while I was on a three week trip to Newfoundland.  Debbie and I went with artist, mentor and friend Catherine Gibbon.  We stayed for two weeks in Winter House Brook and painted every glorious day.  I couldn't get too much of the Tablelands and their barrenness. Debbie and I took three days and travelled to Francoise which is a very small (43 residents) fishing outport on the south coast of Newfoundland.  It was a two hour boat ride in very rough seas to get there but it was so worth it.  Newfoundland is definitely one of my favourite places to paint.
