It was about 26 C and mostly sunny. I was in front of the Inn at Gore Bay and the Fish Point Studio painting with a group of Manitoulin Island plein air artists. Helen Siksek was a wonderful host and I enjoyed painting with her and her friends. The studio is across the bay from the town and it has some wonderful views. I had everything except the sailboat in shade from clouds for about five minutes and then the sun came out full again and everything was lit up. It is those brief moments that I love to try to capture. |
