This was painted from inside my parents garage. It was late afternoon New Years Day and very cold. The wind was blowing the snow around and it was strong enough to prevent me from setting up an easel. The sky was a solid dark grey except for one opening which was too small to show blue sky but the sun came through and lit up this bank of clouds. |
