This was painted on a warm fall day. My son and I were spending almost a week at the lake. There was nobody else around so it was very peaceful and felt like the two of us had the lake to ourselves. This is the view from the back of what we call the Lake House. It was a cottage in our youth but our parents turned it into a home and moved up there when they retired. |
