This was painted at Palmer Rapids on a warm hazy day. The water flow was much lower than last time I was here but there is always a decent flow. It is a favourite training location for white water paddlers, and I am sure that many of them would recognize this rock. I am still having fun using only cyan, magenta and yellow. I thought that I would have to add in some earth pigments but my paintings are much more vibrant without the opaqueness of them. |
