​John Christie coordinates a group of Plein Air (Outdoors) painters who gather every Tuesday afternoon, weather and bugs permitting, at 1:00 pm at a designated location in the Bancroft area.

The group is open to anyone who wishes to join:  APFTA membership is not required and there are no rules regarding skill level or equipment. Interested non artists are also welcome to come and see what we are about.  We simply ask that you respect an artist's space.  Some artists love to chat while they work; however many need quiet and seclusion.

We are planning a Plein Air Group Show in The Annex at APFTA in November.

We are always looking for new locations to paint.  Please help us out with some of your fabourite scenes.  We require parking for a few cars and enough room to spread out a bit. A washroom is a luxury but not required.
