This was day four of a very arduous canoe trip in Killarney. The Notch is a very steep 1420m portage from Nellie Lake down to Murray Lake and this falls is about half way down. I stopped to take a break and couldn't resist getting my paints out. It was so cold and damp down in this deep cut that the paint wouldn't dry. It was like working with oil paint. |
