It was cool (there was ice on the pond) and cloudy so no sun to warm us but it was above freezing and dry so my watercolours dried well which means I can't blame the weather for my struggles.
This was my mornings attempt at a masterpiece. The water was absolutely calm and the dead trees made for an exciting reflection. I am not very happy with it. I started off using too much water (as usual) and then had to punch it up a bit which made it a little overworked. It isn't terrible but it in no where near my best.
All things considered it was a great day. I do need more full days of painting.
